West 18th Street Fashion Show 2012- Unbridled Talent

Once again, it is June and we eagerly anticipate the creatively inspired West 18 th Street Fashion Show, presented in the Crossroads Art District in Kansas City . The theme of the event changes annually, challenging the creativity of the carefully selected fashion designers, creating excitement and anticipation as we wait to see their unique interpretations of the theme. This year the theme is Triple Crown Summer! inspired by the richness and textures of the equestrian world. The show was first presented in 2001 and was established to showcase the emerging talent in the Kansas City fashion scene. Since then, the show has continued to grow and seats sell out fast to the open air catwalk down 18 th Street, a street full of art, design and creative spirit. This highly anticipated summer event has become part of the fabric of our city and the Crossroads arts community. Because Foot Traffic is an enthusiast resident and participant in the art community of the Crossroads District, we are one of the sponsors of this favorite event. We offer the designers any legwear they would like to enhance their runway solutions. It is such a fun time assisting the designers as they finalize every detail of their creations.
